1926 Darwin Family Reunion: Evensville, Tennessee
Welcome to the Darwintern
This website is a summary of work-in-progress on assembling the family tree of the Darwins of the Southern United States,
descended from a single progenitor, William Darwin (1707-86)
of Lousia Co. VA. If you have found a Darwin ancestor born south of
Mason-Dixon prior to 1900, you are very likely a branch arising from this family tree.
We are currently migrating from an previous website; check the What's New page for updates on our progress.
Getting Started
No log-in is required to use this site; however, the names and other information about people known or thought to be living are only available to
account holders.
For an index of currently documented descendants of William Darwin (1707-86), see the interactive Register of Descendants of William Darwin, or use
Last Name/First Name search box in the upper left-hand corner to find a specific individual. A user guide for this site is in
preparation, though in the interval we hope you can find your way around without too much difficulty. A brief introduction to the founding generation of the Darwin
Family in America is available in Meet the Virginians. Happy hunting!
