| Notes |
Elizabeth M. Darwin was born 1828 in Morgan Co., AL, and moved with her parents to Randolph Co., IL, about 1835.
By 1850, Elizabeth is listed in St. Mary's Parish, LA, where she is married to Job Rawls and they have a daughter, Mary, who was age 2 and born in Louisiana.
Elizabeth's father, Richmond Darwin (aged 54), is also living in their household and it is believed that he and daughter Margaret migrated from Illinois to Louisiana around 1845. Both Job Rawls and Richmond Darwin give their occupation as Planter on the 1850 LA census.
